Overview

Great leaders not only know and manage themselves well, but they are also able to harness the power of emotions to create significant connections with others. They are also able to be positive influences on their teams and throughout their organizations. We call this Leadership Emotional Intelligence or LEQ. It is the product of applying emotional intelligence principles to the challenging work of leadership.

In The Leader Within, leadership expert Jim Boneau will delve into the science behind and application of Leadership Emotional Intelligence. We will explore the four key dimensions of Leadership Emotional Intelligence that define how leaders manage their own emotions and also use the power of emotional connections to influence individuals, groups, and organizations.

Attendees will learn

  • How our brains process the thoughts and emotions generated when we experience the world through the five senses.
  • A four-part model to assist in the leader’s natural development of Leadership Emotional Intelligence: Personal Awareness, Self-Mastery, Influencing Others, and Leadership Connection.
