How to Become ROI Certified

This On-Demand event was originally presented on January 20, 2022 (60 min)

ROI Institute, Inc. held the first ROI Certification® session in December 1995 in Nashville, Tennessee. Since then, more than 16,000 individuals have participated in the process, making it one of the most sought-after certifications for managers and professionals. To become a Certified ROI Professional® (CRP), individuals must complete an ROI study – proof they have mastered the skills to evaluate programs for reaction, learning, application, and ROI. The ROI Certification is a work product certification, meaning participants must use the methodology to become certified.

The demand for ROI Certification continues to grow. Holding the CRP designation appears in job descriptions, and for many organizations, it’s a requirement. Some CRPs have been promoted after completing the process, while others have received salary increases. Others say their CRP status was the reason for being retained in the organization during tough economic times.

ROI Certification is significant because it helps individuals and organizations see the value of their programs in terms that executives appreciate. As with completing any comprehensive learning program, you may have questions.

  • How does it work?
  • What’s involved?
  • What is the time commitment?
  • Who should be involved?
  • Why is it important to become certified?
  • What are the requirements for completion?
  • What types of projects are evaluated?
  • What are the different ways to become certified?

For answers to these questions, attend this informational webinar about ROI Certification. ROI is a great skill set to have in competitive times, and having CRPs on the team is an essential asset to any organization. Learn how you can add value to your team.

Tools, templates, case studies, job aids, and a chapter from the book The Bottomline on ROI (3rd ed.): Benefits and Barriers to Measuring Learning, Performance Improvement, and Human Resources Programs will be provided to participants who attend this session.

Attendees will learn

  • The ROI Certification process.
