ROI at Work: An Interactive Case Study | Recorded Webinar

ROI at Work: An Interactive Case Study HRDQ-U Webinar

60 minutes

Never has it been so essential to design programs and projects to deliver results–and demonstrate that they do. This process is especially pertinent for programs that are strategic, align with operational goals, are expensive, and reach a large audience. Unfortunately, program owners often face challenges to deliver results that executives appreciate and understand, including impact and ROI. These challenges can be overcome by designing programs to deliver results while applying three foundational skills–critical thinking, listening, and basic math.

This interactive session will introduce the ROI Methodology®, the most used evaluation system in the world, while giving participants practice using these essential skills through a review of a case study of a leadership development program. Participants will learn strategies to address some of the more challenging areas in an evaluation: collecting data post-program, isolating the effects of programs on improvement in business measures, and converting measures to money. After attending this session, participants will have a greater understanding of what is required to complete an evaluation study to prepare them to successfully complete their own.

Tools, templates, case studies, and job aids are available to participants who attend and complete the interactive session. Each attendee will receive a copy of Value for Money: Measuring the Return on Non-Capital Investments, which contains 25 detailed case studies.

Attendees will learn

  • To describe how they can use the ROI Methodology in evaluating their programs.
  • How to determine when and how to use various approaches to collect and analyze data.
  • How to plan next steps to conduct an ROI study.

Who should attend

  • Managers and supervisors
  • Training and HR professionals
  • Anyone interested in ROI
