Overview

In today’s agility-driven organizations, project management is no longer the sole domain of a specialist. Prioritization and collaboration are key. We’re all trying to juggle various projects of all sizes implemented by the multiple people we need to get them done. The ability to manage everyday projects is a requirement for all, but it can’t be done alone. Most projects start with good intentions and lots of enthusiasm, but it’s difficult to maintain that level of focus and energy when deadlines are tight.

Join author and practical project management expert Lou Russell for an hour-long session that can help you and your organization get more organized and drive higher-quality results. She’ll discuss the project management roles, address common stumbling blocks, and share a practical formula for success. In addition, she’ll leave you with her Project Charter Template so you can sketch out your projects in 45 minutes or less right out of the gate.

Attendees will learn

  • What it takes to manage everyday projects.
  • How the project management role supports business goals.
  • Common challenges of managing everyday projects.
  • Simple steps to improve project management skills quickly.
  • A method for managing projects that’s both flexible and repeatable.
